Community Skills Program

Support to develop the everyday skills needed to participate more independently in the community:
• Using Public Transport
Learn to read timetables, plan routes, tap Myki, and travel safely.
• Managing Money
Understand notes/coins, budgeting, using cards/cash, and tracking spending.
• Using Technology for Independence
Use mobile phones, reminders, maps, emails, and apps for daily tasks.
• Shopping Skills
Create shopping lists, compare prices, navigate shops, use self-checkouts, and pay independently.

Each session includes visual step-by-step guides, real-world practice, and follow-up tools to support learning at home.

Community Skills Program – Minimum 4 sessions. These can be 2 per week or all within a single week, depending on client needs and staff availability (each session usually 2–4 hrs).
